Is the weather chopping into your profits, too? Here's what you can do about it.

Weather Water Drops Image

The situations below are probably very familiar to you 😨:

  • You leave for the yard and find that it is raining. You wait 2 hours on site and then decide to return anyway.
  • The workday starts well but by 10 a.m. you are surprised by showers alternating with dry spells. After drying the roof 3 times you give up.
  • It has been dry all day but the wind makes it very unsafe. The material is constantly blowing off the roof. Not wanting to compromise the safety of your people, you decide to return home.

The result?

Little to no turnover, but transportation and personnel costs.

Belgium's Roofer confirms, "Weather makes or breaks our profits"

Our survey of Belgian predators clearly confirms it: weather conditions make or crack daily operations for looting companies. On average, 52 working days (out of 220 annually, 24% so!) are negatively affected by the weather. This is also logical considering our industry is constantly working on the outer shell of buildings. Precipitation, temperature and wind all strongly influence productivity.

The simple solution

So the question of 1 million is: how can you as a Roofer better protect yourself from these external factors and dramatically increase the number of days of production? The answer is clear, simple and incisive weather advisory.

Not by combining 8 online weather apps that all give their own "general" advice. Well by creating a personal and targeted advice Of a weatherman telling you if you can work tomorrow or not.

Personal weather advice provides answers to two key questions:

  • Will the weather conditions be workable in our yard tomorrow or not?
  • If not, where and in what way can we productively engage?

In Belgium, more and more Roofers are arming themselves against this uncertainty. On average, this leads to a productivity gain of 30 working days per year. So you can eliminate at least 60 percent (!!!) of rainy days through personalized advice.

Higher productivity + lower loss costs = more profit
