When fastening plywood/concrete plywood for eaves, we recommend pre-drilling the screw points with a countersink drill bit. This will keep the number of splinters to an absolute minimum.
Splinters can cause injuries, and in the long run, damage the roof waterproofing. Of course, you'd rather avoid that. By using the countersink drill you ensure that the screw disappears perfectly into the sheet surface. What's more, it also looks very neat! Safety and efficiency, moving forward!
